How do I get to LUNU?
We're tucked into the hills above Hiriketiya, about 2.5 hours from Colombo airport (or 30 minutes from Mirissa). We can arrange a private driver for you, or you're welcome to brave the journey yourself by tuk-tuk if you're feeling adventurous. Just message us and we'll sort the details.
Is LUNU good for surfing?
Very. Hiriketiya Bay is a five-minute ride away, perfect for beginners and intermediates. There are a handful of other breaks within 15 minutes if you want more variety. We've got board storage, and can point you to local shapers and lessons if you need them.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, in the communal areas. Rooms are intentionally Wi-Fi-free. We promise it's a good thing.
What's the food situation?
We serve breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, all made with local ingredients and lots of Sri Lankan flavours. Think fresh hoppers, dhal, grilled fish, fruit from down the road. Let us know if you have dietary requirements and we'll look after you.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely. LUNU isn't a party spot, it's a home. We've got travel cots, high chairs, and plenty of space to run around. That said, there's a pool and open spaces, so little ones will need supervision.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Cancel more than 14 days before arrival and we'll refund you in full. Within 14 days, we'll hold your deposit as credit for a future stay. If something unexpected comes up, just talk to us, we're human.
